Customer Service Associate -- CLOSED

Primary Duties

  • Provide good customer service

  • Reconcile daily work

  • Maintain required internal control procedures

  • Respond to customer inquiries

  • Assist with telephone inquiries

  • Release liens and judgments

  • Research data for citizen inquiries

  • Prepare promissory agreements for citizens related to delinquent taxes

  • Release and finalize SODC claims

  • Track monthly workload measures

  • Assist Personal Property, Real Estate, and Delinquent Collections with special projects

Secondary Duties:

  • File statements/tax bills

  • Open and prepare mail

  • Assist in verification of printouts, i.e., cashier reports and daily trial balances

  • Keep workstations clean and stocked with office supplies

  • All other duties assigned by the Treasurer or his designee

Required Education/Experience: Graduation from High School; College Degree/Finance preferred; 3-5 years experience in Accounting and/or Collections; Good Customer Service Skills; Good Communication Skills, both verbal and written; proficiency using Microsoft Office and other office equipment.

Salary Range: $30,000.00 – $32,000.00 per year
