Description:
The City of Portsmouth seeks an individual to perform specialized work in the administration of microcomputer and LAN technology. The responsibilities will include the installation and maintenance of microcomputers, printers, network devices and other related equipment. The candidate will also be responsible for the support of desktop software, including operating systems and related office applications. Experience in microcomputer hardware, Windows and Microsoft Office Software is required.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field; 3 to 5 years of experience in computer network administration; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
