Description:
Under general supervision, performs technical duties in determining eligibility of applicants/recipients for assistance through multiple benefits programs administered by the City's Social Services Department. Work involves interviewing applicants/recipients and explaining multiple benefit programs; assisting applicants/recipients in completing necessary forms; determining and advising applicants/recipients of eligibility for assistance.

Education/Experience:
Graduation from High School or equivalent; 1 to 2 years of experience in program eligibility, interviewing, information collection or case management work, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Must possess a valid Driver's License issued by the Commonwealth of Virginia.
