Welcome to the City of Portsmouth Mosquito Control.  Our mission is to ensure public health and safety using an integrated pest management strategy for mosquito control.  The City of Portsmouth uses various methods and techniques to reduce or eliminate potential breeding sources for juvenile and adult mosquitoes.  Our team is dedicated to not only making Portsmouth a fun and exciting city to spend time outdoors safely but also recognizes the importance of being environmental stewards towards the city's natural resources.

The City of Portsmouth understands the vital role that bee's have as pollinators.  Please help us keep the bees safe by informing us where there are hives located within city limits.  This information will be used by our department to create a buffer zone around hives to ensure that no harm is done.

Hive Locations should be called in at 757-393-8666.
