Job Title: Part-Time Cashier


Primary Duties: 

  • Provide Good Customer Service
  • Collect, Report and Safeguard All Revenue for the City and State
  • Reconcile daily work
  • Maintain Required Internal Control Procedures
  • Process payments of Real Estate Tax, Personal Property Tax, Food Tax, State Income Tax, Parking Tickets, Yard Sale Permits, EZ Passes, Public Utility Bills, Etc.
  • Maintain organization of work area
  • Assist in other areas of office as needed

Secondary Duties:

  • Keep workstations cleaned and stocked with office supplies
  • Shred printouts of Tax bills
  • Provide assistance on Special Projects
  • File statements and Tax bills
  • All other duties assigned by the Treasurer or his Designee

Required Education/Experience:

Graduation from High School; 2-4 years of Cashiers/Teller Experience; Good Customer Service Skills; Good Communication Skills, both verbal and written; Proficiency using Microsoft Office and general office equipment; Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge skills and abilities.


Salary Range: $17.00/hour
